Google story builder

This is a good way to tell stories. Although there are no pictures, characters are clearly identified

Google Forms

I use google forms a lot to do tests or quizzes. It's a great tool and with the Flubaroo add-on, corrections is much easier!

Google Slides

This is, in my view, one of the best tools by google. It not only allows me to make a traditional presentation but also to use it in an interactive way. I can divide the lesson into steps (each slide) and to add YouTube videos or links to useful information they can read or a google doc or a padlet where they can share what they have done.

This is the one I created at the course

And this is one I did later on

Google Docs

This tool is to work collaboratively. It can have many uses such as:

  • collaborative writing
  • peer correction
  • teacher comments
  • share information among a group
This is the task I've created

cons: students interrupt each other, they eliminate what other's have written and they modify too much

Google drawings

This is a very useful tool to do speaking activities as well as written ones, in a collaborative manner. Among the activities that can be prepared, I'm going to mention a few.
  • Mind maps
  • Photographs with speech bubbles the students have to complete
  • Drawings which link to information the students have to read/listen or watch and then do an activity
  • Put the cartoons of a story in order and later tell the story
  • Drag and match activity

This is the activity I created.

Cons: No video can be added

Hello!

I'm Carolina and I've created this blog as a reminder of all the tools we've learned to use during the ICT course. I don't want to forget!!
